RARE Ronald Jones Signed Inscribed JFK FDC Assassination Dallas Parkland Doctor
This listing is for an INCREDIBLY RARE 1964 John F. Kennedy first day of issue postal cover signed and inscribed by Dr. This UNIQUE cover has been inscribed by Jones with information pertaining to the day of the assassination, including his official title at Parkland Memorial Hospital as well as the treatment procedures rendered by him to President Kennedy on that day. Jones was one of the Parkland Memorial Hospital physicians who fought to save the life of President John F. Kennedy on November 22, 1963 inside Trauma Room 1. Trauma Room 1 is the room where President Kennedy passed away, after his assassination in Dallas, Texas on November 22, 1963. During the resuscitation efforts, Dr. Robert McClelland in an attempt to save President Kennedy's life. Jones performed a cutdown on JFK's left upper arm and inserted the hilateral chest tubes.
